One of my favourite things about Cleethorpes family portrait photography is watching families grow through the years. I met the Bonners 5 years ago when I photographed a maternity session for Becky and her beautiful bump (which had a little Millie Rose inside). Crazy to think Millie will be turning 5 soon. Time really does fly amidst all those sleepless nights and tears you sometimes think will never end. I get to capture the Bonners at least once a year and its always an honour to document these memories for them.
This mini session on the beach was super chilled. Millie and Jacob are very playful and kept me on my toes (how I like to shoot) So I followed them around and captured them playing in-between some cuddles with mama and daddy. We did have some quaver bribes for Jacob. I’d always advice some sort of bribes incase the babas don’t want to sit and cuddle (and you want some portraits altogether). It could be their favourite toy, some white chocolate buttons or even some of their favourite music. I have photoshopped Zuma from a session before. If you don’t know who Zuma is you are not missing out. Paw patrol has been part of my life for 4 years ha!
If natural sessions like this are your thing pop me a message. Weekend availability is limited during summer but I always have week day sessions after school hours.
If you’d like your story telling in a Cleethorpes family portrait photography session please do get in touch.
Becky’s maternity session can be found on my old site here. Although my editing has changed somewhat in the past 5 years, the natural story telling was and still is the core of what I do.
